About
Christening photography is all about preserving the quiet beauty and significance of such an important day in your child’s life. Surrounded by family, friends, and faith, it’s a moment filled with meaning, one you’ll want to remember and share with your little one as they grow older. From the gentle blessing to the proud smiles and tender glances, every part of the day tells a story.

As both a photographer and mum, I truly understand how emotional and meaningful these moments are. I also know how important it is to capture them with sensitivity and respect. During the ceremony, I work discreetly, blending in so I don’t disrupt the service or distract your guests. My focus is on observing quietly and documenting what naturally unfolds; the joy, the reverence, the connections between loved ones.

After the ceremony, there’s often time for relaxed, informal portraits, whether it’s outside the church, at a nearby venue, or during a small celebration with family. These are perfect moments to capture the love and support surrounding your child on this special day.
My aim is always to provide you with a beautiful collection of images that reflect not only the event itself, but the warmth and emotion that filled it. These photographs are more than just keepsakes. They become part of your family’s story, a way to remember and honour a meaningful chapter in your lives.

FAQ
1. Will you get in the way during the ceremony?
Not at all. I work quietly and respectfully throughout, keeping my distance during the ceremony itself and never interrupting the moment. You won’t notice I’m there — but the photos will show everything that mattered.
2. Do you stay for the reception as well?
Yes, if you’d like me to. The reception is often where the most natural and relaxed moments happen, so it’s well worth including. We can discuss timings when you get in touch.
3. What if the church has restrictions on photography?
It’s worth checking with your church in advance. Most are fine with a photographer moving around quietly, but some churches have specific rules like the use of flash which it could be prohibited. We can still take photos though, so don't worry about it.
4. How long do you stay?
It depends on your day. I can cover just the ceremony, just the reception, or both. Have a look at the pricing page and get in touch if you’d like something tailored.
