What a joyful day it was! When I was asked to photograph Stella's First Communion, or Prima Comunione in Italian, I was a little bit stressed. What do they do, how they do it, is it going to be more than one kid, what is the moment not to miss, how long does it last...all these questions and excitement at the same time for something that non only had I never done before (taking photos that is) but also something I had never been to. Well, all this questioning came soon to an end as we were informed that photos were not allowed during the ceremony however, we were allowed (thank God) to take a few after the end of the service. And so we did. Some in the church, some in the yard and some at the reception later on.
