Love, Family And A Very Special Little Boy

Some days you arrive at a christening and you can just feel it straight away — that lovely, warm energy where everyone is genuinely pleased to be in the same room. Filippos’s christening was exactly that kind of day. There was a real sense of ease about it all, no rushing around, no one glued to a schedule — just people happy to be together, catching up, laughing, and soaking in the occasion. And honestly? That kind of relaxed atmosphere is pure gold for a photographer.

The ceremony itself was so full of warmth. You could see it on every face — the pride, the love, the little teary smiles that people try (and fail!) to hide. Family had made the effort to travel, and it showed in the way they held each other a little tighter and stayed a little longer in every hug. I always try to look beyond just the formal moments during the service — it’s the quiet reactions happening around the edges that often tell the most beautiful story.

Once the service was done and everyone spilled outside to celebrate, the whole afternoon just unfolded so beautifully. Grandparents with grandchildren in their arms, parents sneaking a quiet moment alone with their baby, old friends falling straight back into easy conversation like no time had passed at all. These are the images I treasure most — not the perfectly posed ones, but the ones that just happened.

Filippos, you were absolutely surrounded by so much love on your special day. And to his wonderful family — thank you so much for welcoming me in and letting me be a small part of it. It was a genuine joy from start to finish. 🤍
